Email extractor for addresses in pasted text
The Email extractor finds email addresses inside text and returns them as a list. Use it when addresses are mixed with notes, messages, exported records, or copied document content. Instead of selecting each address manually, paste the relevant text and review the extracted matches together.
How to extract email addresses
- Copy text that you are authorized to process.
- Paste it into the Text field.
- Select Submit to generate the result.
- Review the Count and the addresses in Result.
- Use Copy to clipboard to transfer the list to your next task.
For example, text containing [email protected] and [email protected] produces those addresses on separate lines. If [email protected] appears again in the source, it also appears again in the output. The Count therefore reflects matched occurrences rather than a guaranteed count of unique contacts.
Review the extracted list
Extraction identifies address-shaped text. It does not confirm that a mailbox exists, that an address belongs to a particular person, or that messages will be delivered. Check for incomplete text, unusual punctuation, and copying errors before relying on the list. An address hidden in an image is not ordinary pasted text; you need readable text before using this form.
Keep only the material needed for your task and use the result for an appropriate purpose. Finding an address in a document does not establish permission to contact its owner.
Common questions
Does the Email extractor visit websites?
This form takes pasted text. To work with a page, first copy the relevant readable content into the input.
How can I organize the result?
Use the Duplicate lines remover if you need distinct entries. Then try the List alphabetizer to arrange the lines or the Text separator to change the delimiter for a destination application. Review the final list before importing it.
