URL extractor
Use the URL extractor to collect HTTP and HTTPS links from pasted text. Review the count, copy matched addresses, and organize your list with related text tools.
URL extractor for links inside text
The URL extractor pulls HTTP and HTTPS web addresses from pasted text and presents the matches as a list. It is useful when links are scattered through research notes, messages, documentation, or exported text. Collecting them in one place makes the next review or organization step easier.
How to use the URL extractor
- Copy the text containing the links you want to collect.
- Paste it into the Text field.
- Select Submit to extract matching addresses.
- Review the Count and the Result list.
- Use Copy to clipboard when you are ready to move the links.
For example, a paragraph containing https://example.com/a and http://example.org/b returns those addresses on separate lines. Repeated links remain repeated in the result. If the first address appears twice in your text, the Count includes both occurrences.
Check links before using them
This tool extracts addresses from the text you supply. It does not confirm that a destination is available, safe, relevant, or owned by a particular organization. Review trailing punctuation, incomplete copying, and query parameters before using the output in a report or importing it elsewhere.
Use complete HTTP or HTTPS addresses when preparing your input. A bare domain, a relative path, or text shown on a hyperlink may not provide the same information as the full destination address. Copy actual addresses when the visible link text is only a label.
Common questions
Does it crawl a website?
The input is a text field. Paste readable source text containing URLs; entering a page address is not the same as asking for all links on that page.
How do I clean the extracted list?
Use the Duplicate lines remover to remove repeated entries, the List alphabetizer to arrange them, and the Text separator to change the output delimiter. Keep the original list so you can compare any changes.
